Oklahoma Goodwill Donor Wall

Oklahoma Goodwill hosted an open house on Tuesday, May 3rd, to officially open their new headquarters.  To honor the many Oklahoma organizations and individuals who contributed to the building of the facility, they commissioned us to custom build this donor wall for their new lobby.

The wall measures 8 feet tall and 16 feet wide.  It is in 4 vertical panels, and each panel is designed to be constantly and easily updated as the organization receives new donations.  Donor plaques are inserted into extruded aluminum rails.  The entire backdrop piece is recylced materials.  Photographs of current Goodwil employees add an appealing touch, as does the picture and quotations from the Goodwill founder.

National Park Service

When the National Park Service came to us, their needs for a trade show display were simple:  They wanted it soon, wanted fast and easy setup, wanted a dynamic graphic array  and needed the whole thing to be lightweight and easy to ship.  They were describing our Xpression-Snap! Display to a tee.  When setup needs to take under 5 minutes but it's got to look great, this is the perfect solution.

Featured in their display is the Xpressions-Snap! 3x3 Model H, our most popular 8' model.  As you can see, it fits well into a 10 x 10 space.  We added a hard case with a stretch case-to-counter conversion (front left), our ExpoLinc retractable literature stand, and a couple of camp chairs.  Looks like a cozy place to learn about our Park Service, doesn't it?

Why not drop by our showroom today and put a stopwatch on our Xpressions-Snap! set up?

Create drama with color and lighting.

Maximize your bang for the buck!  Creator of this display, Jim Harlow, did just that with this great 10' 4x3 Coyote popup display.  Honoring this year's royalty for the local chapter of Job's Daughters International, Jim combined some nice photographs with the black background of the Coyote fabric (Black Lava Color), added good lighting, a nice podium conversion, and voila!  A dramatic showcase for the queen and her court.  Great job, Jim!

Aluminum Extrusion and Fabric Graphics - The Hot Display

This custom Aluminum Extrusion 10 x 20 features tool free installation, two large fabric graphic panels and a hidden monitor mount and computer shelf.  The six graphic panels flanking the 42" monitor are printed, laminated and mounted with stand-off grippers to silver airplane wire.

A hidden vertical post supports both the monitor, and a rear shelf for a CPU.  The custom podium with locking door can be either right or left orientation.

This entire 10 x 20 booth is UPS shipable.

Red Earth Opens Downtown Museum and Gallery

It was a pleasure working with Deputy Director Eric Oesch and the Red Earth Museum and Gallery to brand the windows fronting their new downtown location.  Simple yet large enough to be seen from the street about a football field's length away, these graphics will get your attention without blocking the window frontage displays inside.

With their open house Friday, March 26th from 10am until 5pm, the Museum and Gallery at 6 Santa Fe Plaza, is a welcome addition to our growing downtown area.  Located just south of the Skirvin Hilton Hotel and within walking distance of the Cox Convention Center and every major hotel in downtown Oklahoma City, the Museum's location puts it in the middle of an estimated 8 million tourists each year.

Want to add some pizzazz to the front of your offices?  Give us a call!  Whether it is opaque graphics like these featured here, or perffed to allow visibility from the inside out, we have the solution to blah windows!

Small Sign for a Big Show!

At the recent Darryl Starbird show in Tulsa, this amazing Merlin Roadster motorcycle won first place and is going to be featured in the the next issue of MotorCycle Magazine.  The bike was also in the Oklahoma City Auto Show last weekend, when it was chosen as the Coolest Car in Oklahoma City.

So why is this our display of the week?  Well, because of the great little sign beside it that tells you all about it.  This is an indoor/outdoor sign, called the Rocket.  It can be single sided or double sided.  Those big feet can be filled with water to hold it down, and it features a spring action where we attach your graphics, so it can sway with the wind but not tip.

Find this Rocket display under our Banner and Sign Holders Products.

VBurst is Brilliant!

Need a larger-than-life image but want lightweight and easy to put up?  The V-Burst Fabric Pop Up is the answer!  A tensioned fabric graphic is attached to a pop up frame.  When you open the frame out, it tensions the fabric, making a smooth, wrinkle-free graphic backwall.  When you close the frame, the fabric stays attached.

Available in many sizes from table-top to full 10' wide floor model, the V-Burst can be either flat front or a concave curve.  Although it is available in several fabrics, my favorite is our Brilliance, as in this picture.  Colors are vivid, and the fabric itself is near wrinkle free!  This display can be turned around in about a week.  Contact us for details, or drop by our showroom to see and touch this great product.

Xpressions-Snap! Perfect for the Norman Convention and Visitors Bureau

The Norman Convention and Visitors Bureau recently completed an exciting 3 x 3 display, the Xpressions-Snap! 3 x 3 Model F.  This display was perfect for them, because they wanted to show the diversity of attractions in the Norman area without everything getting lost.  They took their display a step farther, by making all of the 1 x 1 "skins" the same size, which allowed them to move their placement on the frame any where they desired.

The Xpression-Snap! Display family is literally the easiest display to put up and down that we offer.  The patented 2-way stretch fabric "skins" stay on the frame, up or down, allowing setup and take down in literally seconds.  The display is extrememly lightweight, making it easy to tote in a car, or inexpensive to ship.  This display has it all, and doesn't Norman look inviting?  Lets visit soon!

Tips for a Successful Show

Booth Appearance

Booth layout is critical.  Never have objects between you and your potential customer.  Instead, place tables off to the side and always keep an open entry.  You want people to feel invited into you area, not like you are guarding it from them!

Think of your booth as a billboard.  You have three seconds at 70 mph to attract that attendee!

Avoid stacking brochures on counters.  Display only one or two copies instead.  Doing this creates more of an opportunity for a request from the visitor, which paves the way to conversation.

Avoid stacking giveaways on tables.  This only attracts bag-stuffers.  When you display only one giveaway, you create interest while reducing the "grab -and-run" effect.

Neat. Neat. Neat.  Keep your booth neat, clean, organized and clutter free.

8 Rules for Giveaways

Handled poorly, giveaways can over attract, drawing crowds too large to give staffers time for meaningful interaction or lead collection.  But when premiums are integrated into the entire show strategy, they can reinforce a message, recongnize a visitor for stopping at the booth, communcate a specifc message, or reward a prospect for participating in a demonstration.  Here are some guidelines for selecting effective giveaways:

  1. Concept first; catalog second.  Understand why you are using a givewawy and what you expect in return before you buy.  Rather than looking for "specials", ask youself what you are trying to accomplish with this product.
  2. Make the prize specific to your business.  Of course this includes personalizing your giveaway with you company logo, tag line, etc.  Tie the giveaway to an overall show theme or ad campaign, and double its effectiveness!
  3. Be selective; avoid being hit-and-run.  Don't just hand out giveaways when the mood strikes you.  Follow a plan of action.  Who do you want to receive the premium?  What must they do to get it - fill out a lead card?  See a demonstration?  Talk to a sales rep?  Get something for your money!
  4. Keep the ad specialties out of sight.  Otherwise, curious hands may grab them before you have a chance to engage and qualify the taker.
  5. An effective giveaway has high-perceived value.  That doesn't mean it has to be expensive.  It just has to be perceived as valuable by your attendee.
  6. Useful gifts are retained.  Useless gifts are given to someone else.  You want a gift that recipients hang on to, so it keeps reminding them of your company.
  7. Unique is better than expensive.  Find an attractive giveaway that no one else is offering and you'll gain more attendee interest.
  8. On the desk is better than in the desk.  It will provide a continuous reminder of you, the exhibitor.
